Moon-child kitties are the most emotional and sensitive of all animals so be sure to bestow a great deal of affection upon them.  They are the perfect pet for someone who is at home most of the time as they require a lot of reassurance that they are loved and will give love back in a show of their appreciation.

As the sign Cancer rules the stomach, Moon-child kitties may suffer sluggish digestion, especially aged kitties.  Some helpful herbs to sprinkle into their daily food are ginger and turmeric.

Cancer not only rules the stomach but also the lower part of the lungs, the breasts, and the diaphram.  Breast health can be accomplished by eating anti-cancer foods such as almonds, apples, apricots, barley, dried beans, beets (extract of beet root kills cancer cells in the laboratory), Bok Choy, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, burdock root, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, chickpeas, corn, cucumbers, dandelion, figs, flax seed, garlic, ginger, grapes, greens (collards, mustard, dandelion, nettles, kale), horseradish, lentils, millet, herbal infusions, nuts, seeds, oats, olive oil (resists rancidity...rancid oil is carcinogenic), onion, parsley, pineapple, potatoes, purslane, radishes, rhubarb, rice, rutabaga, rye, seaweed, fermented soybeans (tempeh, miso), spinach, sprouts, squash, strawberries, sunflower seeds, sweet potatoes, green tea, tomatoes, turnips, wheat grass, yogurt.

For digestive disturbance, stimulating the digestive system with a cup of freshly sliced or grated ginger root tea will do wonders for the stomach and at the same time will enhance the circulation.
Upset stomach:  Simmer two teaspoons of freshly grated ginger or one teaspoon of dried peppermint in one cup of water in a covered pot for ten minutes.  Strain, add lemon and honey.

General Nausea:  Take one to two capsules of powdered ginger every 15 minutes until symptoms abate; do not exceed 25 capsules in one day.
