NEW MOON OCTOBER 2011 - USA

Click on chart to enlarge, then click again.

DATA:  October 26, 2011 @ 3:57 p.m. - Washington, D.C.

The focus of this New Moon is debt, taxes, entitlements and welfare as a stellium of planets falls into the 8th house, the Sun/Moon, Mercury and Venus, all in the sign Scorpio.

The lunation itself applies to and opposes retrograde Jupiter in Taurus in the 2nd house of the nation's wealth...this describes a time of financial waste and extravagance advanced by those with warped abilities.

The Part of Fortune falls exactly on the Ascendant:  a moral lesson is about to be taught from an episode of history...hard ordeals to go through...religious principles will not prevent being overcome and carried away by passion from time to time.

Mars in Leo in the 6th house square Mercury gives energy to encounters with police, who are forcing peaceful demonstrators out of public parks (Atlanta, GA).  Even State Senator Vincent Fort, who had come to the park to support the protestors, was arrested.  He noted that police presence was "overkill."  Perhaps when the police lose their jobs due to financial manipulation by the Syndicate and have no way to pay their mortgages and feed their children, they too will support the protestors.  That may happen sooner rather than later, as Mars in the 6th sector of police square Venus brings forth issues of unemployment.  Only when they can walk in another man's shoes will the police see a situation from their own perspective.

I heard an Angel singing
When the day was springing,
"Mercy, Pity, Peace
Is the world's release."

Thus he sung all day
Over the new mown hay,
Till the sun went down
And haycocks looked brown.

I heard a Devil curse
Over the heath & the furze,
"Mercy could be no more,
If there was nobody poor,

"And pity no more could be,
If all were as happy as we."
At his curse the sun went down,
And the heavens gave a frown.

Down pour'd the heavy rain
Over the new reap'd grain,
And Miseries' increase
Is Mercy, Pity, Peace.

William Blake

The reverse may also be true, and appears more likely now that we are in a total police state: The cops will shake down citizens and blatantly steal from us, even openly demand "backshish" payment, for any reason or no reason ~ like in many corrupted countries. With pensions gone, they will rage on the citizens over whom they have total control with impunity.

Anon..the police are already shaking down citizens - in Louisiana and Tennessee, to my knowledge. Should that condition accelerate then those who are supposed to protect and serve will discover that there are more of us than there are of them, and here in the south, we are heavily armed..although we prefer peace overall, survival is a mandatory law of nature.

Oakland CA police had been getting a better reception..I don't know if the routing of the OWS yesterday and using flash grenades was a good idea..
presently I am trying to stay low keyed
