VENUS RETROGRADE MAY 2012

Although the chart is for the USA, everyone on the globe will experience the retrograde of Venus in Gemini square the Moon in Pisces.  Venus represents a nation's resources, banks, bankers and has a strong association with war.  Venus in Gemini desires variety in the pursuit of these things.  On the world front that variety may encompass currencies and shenanigans of central banks to which the retrograde condition now causes a screeching halt.

Venus is conjoined the Fixed Star Alnilam, the Central star of Orion's belt...noted for brief fame and scandal.  It has the influence of Jupiter/Saturn and is described as fortunate.  Jupiter/Saturn are the business planets...perhaps the good fortune for the masses will be that scandalous practices will be brought to the light of day and dealt a blow from which their perpetrators will be unable to recover.

The Moon represents the masses, the public, the common people and the population as a whole.  The Moon in Pisces makes it harder to deal with the harsh aspects of reality.  Enter the square between Venus and Moon:  The result is stress, dynamic tension and an emotional battleground as social relations go "kaput" and business and  public relations bog down...escapism is the order of the day in an attempt to avoid the effects of financial extravagance.

Venus will turn direct in motion on June 27, 2012 at 7* Gemini 30'.  For the USA, this will conjoin natal 6th house Uranus and give rise to unexpected military events.  This is ominous in light of the tight square of transiting Pluto square transiting Uranus in the nation's 4th house, both planets making contact to natal Uranus.   Are you prepped to the max?
