As the world watches the debt-dithering dog and pony show in D.C., and Americans hold themselves from disgorging, many are in shock... but awakening to the lack of leadership in the country, as elected and selected members of government attempt to make it appear they are useful and well worth the outrageous salaries and benefits they pay themselves.
On the other hand, the cusp of the 11th house of congress is on the last degree of Libra - denoting a crisis situation pertaining to those in the legislative branch - and squared by Pluto (corporate welfare, economy) from the 2nd house of bankers...an indication of income from hidden sources for purposes that should be obvious, considering the rulerships.
The transits reveal a concerted effort at diversion as transiting Pluto in the 1st house, ruler of the 12th house of behind-the-scenes machinations and co-ruler of the 2nd house of bankers and the nation's wealth - opposes natal Jupiter...the result of which is corruption and abuse of power that transpires in secret - otherwise known as terrorism inflicted upon the people (Pluto, ruler of 12th in 1st)...ethics and morality (Jupiter) being beaten to a pulp.
Cancer is on the 8th house cusp of national debt, Mercury in Cancer posited therein, so we have Moon and Mercury as co-rulers of our obligations, the Federal Reserve, social security, etc. We undoubtedly will not experience hope but Americans can count on change as transiting Mercury is about to move into retrograde mode late in the day on August 2nd. For the following three weeks the country will think debt matters are settled but stay on your toes, Americans, because soon after Mercury turns direct in motion the errors decided upon will be revealed...as Saturn forms a conjunction to its natal position (Saturn return) and squares natal Sun...a transit of critical developments that produces a period of trial.

Mercury stops being retrograde Aug 26th? is that the date?
I am not clear about the bankers reference..how does this effect them?

Yes, Mercury ends its retrograde motion on August 26th.
The bankers are not affected. It is the bankers who do the affecting, who do the manipulating, who function behind the scenes, who do the buying/pimping that enables those in D.C., to do the terrorizing.
shucks, the bankers need some cause and effect message..oh well, all in due time? hopefully
