NEW MOON IN ARIES 2011

Gemini Rises in this chart erected for Washington, D.C., its ruler Mercury retrograde in Aries, in the 11th house of legislative branches, indicating unhealthy situations surrounding those who have been elected to serve.

The Aries energy is extremely high with six planets in the sign, a Stellium of four falling into the 11th house, including the New Moon.  We can expect congress to be conceiving more sloppy, unworkable ideas with Sun, Moon and Jupiter opposition retrograde Saturn with a good chance they may take some heat in the educational area...richly deserved. 

Pluto in the 7th house of foreign affairs forms the Apex of a Cardinal T-Square to this New Moon/Saturn opposition...some intense activity from a US ally puts pressure on those members of congress who are supposed to be serving their constituents.  Is that a laugh, or what?  Pluto in a Cardinal sign describes this ally as a loner who doesn't integrate with others easily and as Moon-ruled Cancer is on the 2nd house, it appears follow the money tells the tale.

In the USA chart this lunation falls in the 4th house opposite natal Saturn in the 10th house of the administration and square to natal Sun in the 7th house.  The country has been undergoing what is known as a Saturn Return, always a difficult and often painful time that forces responsibility upon the people of a country.  We can expect the pain to emanate from the foreign affairs in which the country has engaged these past years...from both our allys and enemies.  Gird up your loins, fellow Americans, survival time is upon us.
