SUMMER SOLSTICE 2013

The figure for the Vernal (Spring) Equinox always bears chief rule for the ensuing astrological year (March to March) and while the succeeding ingresses into the other cardinal points also have a pre-signification, they are subsidiary to the first-named.  Focus of the Vernal Equinox in effect until March of 2014 will be on 3rd house matters:  Transportation (river, land, sea), communications (internet, telephone, post office), bridges, and just-in-time delivery systems.

The following interpretation is for the chart cast for Washington, D.C., of the Summer Solstice depicting situations to be faced by the population of the USA during the course of the next three months.  DATA:  June 21, 2013 @ 1:05 a.m. - Washington, D.C.

The most note-worthy configuration is a Water Grand Trine involving a 4th house Sun, 7th house Saturn, and 12th house Neptune.  Normally this would be considered an easing of problems, however, there are a total of six planets in water signs in addition to a watery Ascendant.  An over-emphasis on the water element means that with the Sun in the 4th house, the focus will be weather events, agriculture, and general living conditions of the population.  For people everywhere, in every country on the globe, this watery over-emphasis means there will be a feeling of being cast adrift in a rowboat that is bobbing on a stormy ocean.

In the chart under discussion, Uranus in Aries in the 1st house bestows a tendency for the people to revolt under oppression and being squared by a 10th house Pluto in Capricorn, the oppression is unrelenting.  Mars sextile Uranus equates to the public arming themselves to a greater degree than already accomplished.

Jupiter sits exactly on the IC opposing the Midheaven suggesting a time for seeking security at home base, a time to gather strength.

Spiritual astrology holds that the most spiritual time of year falls at the Summer Solstice.  The highest point in the zodiac, the place for which pyramids and mounds were erected in ancient times, is the dividing line between Gemini and Cancer.  In days of old, fires were lighted on these eminences to signify the Sun had reached its greatest elevation; that is, had reached the very gate of heaven.

In the 28th Chapter of Genesis @ verse #12 is described the dream of Jacob:  "He dreamed that a ladder was set up on the ground with its top reaching to heaven; angels of God were ascending and descending on it."

The degrees of the zodiac are not unlike the rungs of a ladder which arches the sky, extending from earth to heaven.  Thus do the various planets move higher and higher in the sky until they reach the first of the sign Cancer and then start their descent to lower declination.

This going up and coming down, which the Sun is observed to do each summer, evidently signified to those who traced the starry pictures in the sky and gave to each a story, a going up and coming down which was suggestive of the movement of those intelligences which have no physical form, and which, for want of a better term, may be called angels.

It is not without significance that the preceding compartment in the zodiacal circle, which is touched by this gate of the above, is Gemini, the section ruling thought.  As the Key-phrase to Cancer is I Feel, we have quite appropriately, Thinking and Feeling in immediate contact with the highest point of the celestial circle, and thus leading to the heavenly gate.

Thoughts enter into compounds which are harmonious or discordant according to the Feeling at the time they were brought together.  If the feeling was that of discord, the thoughts so united tend to attract into the life the very opposite of heaven; they attract misfortune and distress.  But if the feeling which accompanied their union was of a pleasant turn, to the extent such harmony was present do the thought-cells then composed, work to attract fortune and happiness into the life.

A similar process is at work with lower forms, in fact, wherever life exists such processes are at work; although the states of consciousness experienced can hardly be dignified by the name of thought.  Yet life-forms on every plane, and in every stage of progress, have experiences which are registered in their finer forms as states of consciousness.

These states of consciousness, however lowly and simple they may be, constitute the experiences of that form.  They are registered in the astral counterpart and combine to form the psychoplasmic cells of that finer body; and these, in turn, determine the experiences which will be attracted to it.

Whether lowly or highly evolved, whether to a single cell of protoplasm or to an educated man, every experience that comes to a life-form adds just that much energy to its finer body.  As a person, when hypnotized, or under psychoanalysis, can recall any experience or thought of his or her past, so the four-dimensional body of every organism is a complete record of all that has happened to it, and its mental and emotional reactions to these occurrences.

So it is that every form of life is moving forward toward the acquisition of such abilities as will fit it to perform the particular function in the cosmic scheme of affairs, that is has been called into differentiated existence to fulfill.  It attracts to it, by virtue of its original polarity, the type of experiences that afford it the proper trend in education.  It does not have just the same experiences that some other does; because it is not being educated to fill the same cosmic position.

Its experiences in one form of life, however, give its thought-cells, or unconscious mind, ability to handle certain situations.  It learns how to gather together the material elements and build a certain kind of physical body.  And then, when the body dies, as further seen in Jacob's dream, it ascends to heaven; that is, passes to the astral spheres.

In this astral realm there are other opportunities for experience and progress.  Life is never stationary; it is ever moving, always gaining new experiences, whatever may be the plane.  These experiences, however, are of a different sort.  They are four-dimensional experiences; experiences also of reorganizing what has been gained in the preceding physical body.

Then, when the vibratory conditions are right, the life-form which has continued its progress on the astral plane, is attracted again to earth, descends the ladder as in Jacob's dream, to enter another physical form; a physical form which is a step in advance, perhaps a long step in advance; due to its assimilation of previous experiences.

Successively, it ascends to the astral plane and then returns to earth, as the angels moved up and down; but each physical form, due to its acquired experiences, is a step in advance, and each ascent to the astral is a more conscious existence.  Birth and death and birth again are the rungs of the ladder which lead men and women to their spiritual estate; and the gate through which they must pass to enter that estate is the gate of parenthood for the reason that parenthood tends to displace selfishness with those tender affections that most quickly strengthen the soul and build the spiritual body.  One could say that such tender feelings are also present for those who weren't blessed with parenthood but nevertheless nurture others, whether human, animal or plant.

Be mindful of your thoughts and feelings as the Holiest of days approaches.

JAPAN - USA JUNE 2013 UPDATE

Outer Circle:  May 25, 2013 Full Moon Eclipse

Note:  Houses will not be considered in the Japan chart due to lack of true time of birth.

On May 25, 2013 a Lunar Eclipse at 4* Sagittarius 8' opposed natal Pluto in the chart of Japan.  Pluto is especially related to financial matters, investments, and joint resources.  Pluto is also noted for power struggles that often bring destruction.

The square of transiting Neptune to natal Pluto has been in effect since at least March, already weakening Japan's financial situation, leaving the May eclipse (and the ensuing months) the job of finishing it off.  This drama is occurring with the assistance of transiting Saturn, now retrograding in Scorpio, the sign of joint resources, ruled by Pluto, which is moving to inconjunct the same natal Pluto that has been suffering planetary discordance.  Saturn will turn direct in motion on July 8th at 4* Scorpio 49'...only forty-nine minutes from exact aspect.

Further weakening of Japan can be seen via the May 10, 2013 Solar Eclipse at 19* Taurus 31' in close square to natal Sun, signifying a crisis that is bound to get the country noticed.

The Congressional Research Service states:  "Japan is a major foreign source of financing of the U.S. national debt and will likely remain so for the foreseeable future, as the mounting U.S. public debt needs to be financed and the stock of U.S. domestic savings remains insufficient to meet the investment needs.  Japan is also a significant source of foreign private portfolio and direct investment in the United States, and the United States is the origin of much of the foreign investment in Japan."

For the above reasons it would behoove Americans to keep their focus on the happenings in Japan instead of on Europe, to use Japan as the canary in the mineshaft, so to speak, as THE major warning that the U.S. financial ship of state has hit an iceberg.

Outer Circle:  Lunar Eclipse of October 18, 2013

On October 18, 2013 a Lunar Eclipse will fall in the 4th house of the USA horoscope in square to 2nd house natal Pluto.  As in Japan's chart above:  Pluto is especially related to financial matters, investments, and joint resources and is also noted for power struggles that often bring destruction.  The exception between Japan's chart and that of the USA is that a square aspect brings acute conflict and violent antagonisms that cause radical changes.  It is much more destructive than an opposition, such as Japan is experiencing, as the square acts in a violent manner, tending to tear up and destroy all it contacts.  It is contacting the 2nd house in the USA horoscope, the area of life that involves the financial state of the nation and its purchasing power.  What it means is that our monetary system is about to undergo a dramatic change so that Americans may very well find themselves a lot less wealthy than they were before this most important Lunar Eclipse.

The Moon is in Aries, ruler of the 4th and 5th houses as both have Aries on the cusp, which means that the effects of this eclipse will also negatively impinge upon living conditions of the population, real estate, mining, agriculture, the land itself and weather events (4th house) and on 5th house matters, such as children's issues, public education, sports, and the stock market.

Full Moon Eclipse May 2013 - USA

Sagittarius and the 10th house are highlighted, the closest aspect being a square to 1st house Neptune in Pisces.  Setting the theme for the next two weeks will be illness (diseases obscure or hard to diagnose), hospitalization, and probable continuing criminal activities of those on high.  The spotlight is on he who occupies the White House and his unpatriotic administration who, with the 10th house Moon applying to square Neptune, will attempt to bamboozle the public with the usual lies and/or call up a false flag, the specialty of Neptune.

Headlines will feature scandals, kidnapping, accidents involving chemical or oil spills...and then there is the weather, as heavy rains cause flooding problems or mudslides in those areas conducive to them.  If a global coastal event is to occur it would happen anytime from a week prior to the eclipse to a week thereafter.

Neptune when involved in challenging aspects speaks to impotence, treachery, sabotage through ambivalence, deceptions, betrayal and distortion on a grand scale.  Con men will be out and about (many of them in the nation's capital) so be on your toes.

A Sagittarius Lunation brings to the fore distant matters and financial loss through them (all those foreign dollars coming home to create hyperinflation), as well as legal affairs and the judicial system.  Those connected to Jupiter-ruled activities (journalists, professors, the judiciary, industrialists) will find this eclipse to be quite significant of coming changes having a direct impact upon their interests.

On the plus side with the Moon trine 2nd house Uranus, this is an excellent time to plan for future goals, especially those involving your financial security.

On the negative side with Pluto in the 12th house square the 2nd house Uranus, it appears the plutocrats are working behind the scenes to foist upon an unsuspecting public a digital (Uranus) monetary scheme.  Look for them to spring the trap around May 20th/21st when the aspect becomes exact.

MAY 5, 2013 TRANSITS USA

DATA:  May 5, 2013 @ 7 AM EDT - Washington, D.C. as affects the USA horoscope and its people.

A blogspot known as "American Holocaust Coming" published a message on April 27, 2013 from a Navy Seal stating that on May 5, 2013 a nuclear attack via planted nukes would be detonated in various locations in the United States in an effort to achieve the collapse of America, to bring it under martial law, and to usher in the NWO. 

Taking a look at the astrology for the USA on May 5th and the possibility of such an event occurring either on that date or being quietly birthed to make itself felt later in time, these are the transits:

MOON is in Pisces transiting the 3rd house square Mars and opposition Neptune, the square between Mars/Neptune symbolizing a USA signature of war.  Mars as co-ruler of the 7th house of public enemies also rules the 12th house of misadventure with Scorpio on the cusp, and the 4th and 5th houses with Aries on the cusps.  The activity of the Moon in Pisces is unfortunate, suggesting that some activity will be triggered on the day in question that will affect the living conditions of the population, to their detriment.  The 4th house describes circumstances to occur at home base; the 5th house describes circumstances to occur in places of amusement and places where young people congregate.

Digressing for a moment, on April 15th @ 2:50 p.m., transiting Moon was in Gemini in the 7th house of public enemies inconjunct natal Pluto in the USA horoscope while at the same time aggressive, assaulting, martial law Mars transited the 4th house - the homeland - forming a square to the same Pluto, resulting in the Boston Bombing Massacre and martial law foisted upon the citizens of Boston.  This unprecedented action constitutes a shot across the bow for the rest of America.

SATURN transiting Scorpio in the 11th house inconjunct natal 6th house Uranus.  The circumstances operating described by the inconjunct (quincunx) is felt as irritation between two parts that are totally out of synchronization with each other so as to create transformation, depicted in Saturn inconjunct Uranus as upheaval between those in authority (government) and those in the military.  Uranus is the irresistible force, the only power capable of meeting and defeating the immovable body of Saturn.  In the 6th house Uranus suggests schism within the military branches...in Gemini, the atmosphere that surrounds military environment is one of duality.  The aspect triggering these energies that will now bring about an event describes how circumstances of the houses operate...in short, there are two military factions that are about to face off should violence and death manifest, as the inconjunct is an aspect of fatality...and Uranus is a key trigger to war.  In this scenario, war on the American people.

SATURN transiting square and on the same degree as the natal Moon's Nodes...a fateful testimony, Karmic points which act like an adverse combination of Saturn and Uranus to bring sudden calamity; something going on which is beyond control.  This could mean a serious and painful situation for Americans and it could also mean a fed-up people who will resort to extreme means...or a combination of both.

NEPTUNE transiting the 3rd house trine 7th house Jupiter...either public enemies of a foreign persuasion seek to rearrange America's financial structure or the energies mean arrogant, power-seeking entities in the process of deserting a sinking ship flee to foreign locations to avoid the hangman.

The long-term extremely stressful transit of Pluto square transiting Uranus in this chart is less than one degree from exact, its purpose to bring about a major shift in the collective, an evolutionary leap to a higher consciousness that we will entertain once again on May 20th/21st, when the aspect is exact for the third time since 2012.  Challenges are heavily upon us.

SCORPIO FULL MOON ECLIPSE APRIL 2013 - USA

The major focus is on the financial scene for not only do the Moon and Sun occupy the financial houses, but the financial signs, as well.  Add in the Moon conjoined Saturn in Scorpio and the Sun conjoined Mars in Taurus - the two malefics Mars and Saturn opposing one another - and you have a scene wherein the excrement hits the oscillator.  Run, Spot, Run.

Saturn in Scorpio in the 2nd house (the financial state of the nation and its purchasing power) and Pluto in Capricorn in the 4th house (living conditions of the population) are in mutual reception and provide hidden resources for each other.  Saturn rules corporations and the administration in power.  Pluto rules tyrants and dictators; plutocrats and their secret agreements between businesses or corporations that enable them to defraud the public.  Expect the DHS to move against the people as the situation of the country's financial state is revealed and to protect the thieves attempting to sneak away unscathed.  They may not be successful this time around because Uranus in Aries in the 7th house square Pluto may stage a grand surprise to the jack-booted thugs (JBTs).

Now for some good news...for Jupiter conjoined the Gemini Midheaven promises that the truth shall come out, that mad dogs of industry and mad dogs of military and police aggression are to be restrained for the protection of all.

TRUTH is dual.  It is a correct mental relation to some energy, law, or condition.  It is the conformity of cognition to reality.  Only if we are aware of reality can we act in the proper manner.  One of the functions of astrology is to delve below the truth of appearances and uncover the truth of reality.

Bitcoins are supposedly the invention of a man who called himself Satoshi Nakamoto.  The name is a pseudonym.  He who is called Nakamoto mined the first 50 bitcoins on January 3, 2009 and virtual currency was born.

In October 2011, the New Yorker writes:  "There are lots of ways to make money: You can earn it, find it, counterfeit it, steal it. Or, if you’re Satoshi Nakamoto, you can invent it. That’s what he did on the evening of January 3, 2009, when he pressed a button on his keyboard and created a new currency called Bitcoin. It was all bit, and no coin. There was no paper, copper, or silver—just thirty-one thousand lines of code and an announcement on the Internet."

Before the debut of Bitcoin there was no record of any coder with the name Satoshi Nakamoto.   The e-mail address and  Web site used were untraceable.  In astrology the father - giver of seed - is represented by the Sun.  On January 3rd the Sun is in the sign Capricorn, ruler of  government officials, representatives and activities. 

Digital currency is governed by the planet Uranus, ruling all things electronic.  Uranus in this horoscope is on the 20th degree of the sign Pisces.

Of Uranus, astrologer Barbara H. Watters writes:  "In consideration of Uranus and its influence, remember that its action is extreme and of a back-lash type.  It brings benefit from disaster, and disaster from what seems like incredible good luck...Its promises are noble, but when fulfilled they turn, mysteriously, into their opposites.  Be wary of Uranus bearing gifts."

Uranus - in the Bitcoin chart - is opposed by Saturn, indicating a lack of stability or security because circumstances over which there is no control may unexpectedly cause deprivation of whatever is depended upon. 

Pisces, natural ruler of the 12th house, represents bondage and involuntary servitude when a planet thus located is afflicted, as Uranus in Pisces is by an opposition from Saturn.  Neptune, ruler of Pisces, is closely inconjunct Saturn, dispositor of the four planets in the sign of Capricorn...government.  With Neptune in adverse aspect to things denoting government, it is safe to assume some degree of deception, delusion, or fraud is operating, and that it is connected with the sign in which Neptune is placed...which is Aquarius, ruler of electronics and which among people signifies people engaged in mass marketing.

The 20th degree of Pisces, as noted by astrologer Martin Goldsmith, speaks to getting caught up in an intoxicating shared illusion and then suffering a sobering moment when one catches a glimpse of a more authentic level of reality.

Surprising external events wait in the wings to upset the course of Bitcoin action in late May, in June and July of 2013...a well-planned trap to be sprung that may sever connections resulting in no access.

The lesson to be learned:  Saturn, the teacher, is retrograde in the sign Virgo...discrimination, discrimination, discrimination.

ASTROLOGY AND HEALING: STRESS

Fight = Mars..................Flight = Saturn

Stress is the organism's response to external or internal (self-generated) conditions or stimulus, the body's manner in which to react to a challenge.  External causes of stress can be major life changes, relationship difficulties, financial problems, children and family.  Internal causes of stress can stem from lack of assertiveness, unrealistic expectations and inability to accept uncertainty.

In today's world, stress is so commonplace as to become a way of life.  Stress isn't always a negative if occurring in small amounts as it can motivate a person towards achievement.  An overdose, however, will exact a heavy price on your mind and body.  Depending on the stressful event, the response will become either fight or flight, impacting a person's mental and physical well-being.

Our nervous system responds to a perceived threat by releasing a flood of stress hormones which include adrenaline and cortisol, so as to prepare the body for emergency action.  These hormones are ruled by the planets Mars and Saturn.  The physical changes - heart beats faster, blood pressure rises, muscles tighten, breath quickens, senses sharpen - increase strength and stamina, speed reaction time, and enhance focus - preparing you to either fight (Mars) or flee (Saturn) from any danger.

Chronic stress disrupts nearly every system in our bodies; long-term exposure can lead to serious health problems as it suppresses the immune system, increases the risk of heart attack and stroke, speed up the aging process, and rewire the brain so that one is vulnerable to anxiety and depression.

SOLUTIONS FOR MARS: 

The adrenal glands should be kept strong and vigorous through affording them a diet including Vitamin A, Vitamin B-1, Vitamin C, Iron and a variety of proteins.  They will then have at hand the materials from which they can manufacture adrenalin and cortin, and not be called upon to do the impossible.

The thought-cells of Mars has a strong desire to perform some constructive work that this inner-plane work will absorb so much of their energy that they will have insufficient left with which to attract negative events.

This is best accomplished by using the Domestic thoughts, ruled by the Moon, as an antidote.  These are thoughts that relate to helping the weak, the helpless and the unfortunate.  They should be substituted for the Mars thoughts whenever these begin to enter objective consciousness, and they should be cultivated through forming some plan, project or work in which pleasure can be experienced, having to do with the comfort of the family, or which contributes to the welfare of the aged or young or those otherwise helpless.

Typical negative Mars thoughts are those of anger, irritation, lust, and those which accompany the feeling of antagonism and the tendency to strife, undue haste, or the undue expenditure of energy.  Whenever any such states of consciousness begin to be felt the attention should be resolutely turned to some constructive effort that will assist those who are unable to help themselves.  And to give more energy to these thoughts and feelings, Moon planetary energies may be tuned in on and used as Rallying Forces.  To tune in on the Moon planetary energies the feeling should be induced such as a mother feels for a babe in her arms, but this feeling should be towards the weak or helpless individuals to whom help is being given.

SOLUTIONS FOR SATURN:

Saturn tends to weaken through deficiency, the diet should also contain variety of the mineral salts and vitamins.  While variety of protein is recommended, too much meat tends to produce an acid condition of the blood stream, and this in turn places an additional burden upon the adrenalin supply, one function of which is to neutralize the acids.  The blood stream should be kept slightly alkaline by eating lots of fruits and vegetables.  Additionally, make up a mixture of apple cider vinegar, concentrated cranberry juice and fresh squeezed lemon juice, dilute with spring water and add Stevia to sweeten.  Your liver will be most grateful.

To prevent the Saturn thought-cell activities from exhausting the adrenalin supply, through deficiency of mineral salts from giving an acid blood stream, and through vitamin or protein deficiency lowering the physical energy, whenever thoughts of anxiety, fear, greed, selfishness or disappointment start entering the mind, these should be displaced with pleasurable thoughts involving the affections or social interests, and by maintaining the Sun feeling that the energies are slightly pressing outward and holding the Sun attitude of power, poise, vitality and self-respect.

Additionally, you can boost your serenity with regular relaxation techniques such as yoga and meditation that will increase your ability to stay calm under pressure.
