Click on chart to enlarge.

On August 16th, 17th transiting Mars reached conjunction of the July 1st Cancer Solar Eclipse Point in Germany's 12th house, opposing natal Neptune in the 6th house and square natal Sun in the 3rd house.

The initial occurrence of a difficult eclipse to the Sun in the 3rd house rendered the country vulnerable to its neighbors.  As the Sun is symbolic of the life force and the nation's vitality it emphasizes important contacts and the need for crucial decisions and brings to light issues concerning gains and losses.

An eclipsed Neptune in the 6th house signals self-deception, especially in matters of the economy and employment due to confusion...or some missing piece of information upon which to base an analysis.  Possibly a national phobia will arise now under this influence.

Transiting Jupiter in the 10th house trine natal Neptune is in the position of acting as reconciler to the Mars/Eclipse Point/Neptune opposition. As energy takes the easiest route to manifest, it does so in this instance with a desire to rule.  There is the tendency for Germany to lay out their plans in leisure, to look carefully at what will expand productivity and how they can improve their physical strength.  They will attempt to improve the situation by demanding their rights and by improving their monetary situation.

The last aspect of note is transiting Pluto conjoined natal Uranus in the 6th house, guaranteed to cause change in the economy and the employment sector, change involving the nation's debt, and change regarding corporate welfare.  A rebellious energy to manifest that is bound to defy rules and conventions as a fierce independent nature comes to the fore.

As reported in the Daily Mail with reference to German Chancellor Angela Merkel:  "Although she will not yet admit it, this all suggests the first step has been taken towards a fiscal union that  will leave Germany dictating the financial terms for the rest of Europe."  The Daily Mail ended the story with this comment:  " Where Hitler failed by military means to conquer Europe, modern Germans are succeeding through trade and financial discipline. Welcome  to the Fourth Reich."

today in Berlin, rioting set fire to luxury cars during the understanding is the common man says no to bailing out the other countries and Merkel to lose her next election..does that fit with what you saw? thanks

Today the Moon (people) opposed natal Sun (Merkel) and formed a temporary T-Square with Mars in the 12th house at the Apex of the configuration...and so the people expressed their anger in self-destructive ways.

At 9* Libra 29' Germany's Sun will come under the opposition influence of transiting retrograde Uranus in Sept/Oct 2013 at the next Federal Election...surprising external events may upset Merkel's plans to retain her position. Simultaneously, transiting Pluto in Capricorn will square Germany's natal Sun. She will be opposed by powerful forces, some of whom will be connected to big business.

shucks, moggy, can't get away from big business and back to the people..but maybe that could suprise me in a positive way..thanks for the posting and answer

Thanks for the question. I always learn something when seeking an answer to a question I would not have otherwise known.

The Uranus transit is through Germany's 10th house, so maintain your hope that the surprises will manifest in a positive manner.

Anon @ 10:16..Breathe as the Earth is anticipation of renewal.

Yesterday there was another 6.2 earthquake off the East Coast of Honshu, Japan. Earthquakes are about realignment and creating a new Earth, thus, some lands will rise and some will fall.

Be at peace, let go and let God.

great work as usual, Moggy. (uh, the charts are a bit small for me to read even after clicking, i guess one can't have everything.... thanks for doing the heavy lifting, reading charts like this--well, i _used_ to enjoy the challenge of the complexity of the task [got nuthin' in Gemini--am a good chessplayer though! :-)].)

Moggy said...

Thanks, pt21..and yes, you can have everything..once you bring up the chart after a click, then click on the chart that is slightly enlarged and wala!

A good chess player surely enjoys a well-placed and aspected Mercury, with a touch of Libra for strategy. I used to enjoy the game and even tho Mr. Puppy has both Gemini and Libra energy in his horoscope, his approach to chess is to wallop the pawns off the board, lol.

one of my best friends also wallops the Pawns off the board, an excellent strategy that! :-)
("I can have everything; I can have everything; I can have everything....")
you got my birth data, right? posted it some time ago on hammyforum. :-)

wow! i clicked again like you said and it was so awesome! what else you got?

Moggy said...

pt21..didn't see your posted data, I don't get to read there on a daily basis.

Was it you who recommended reading The Syndicate: The Story of the Coming World Government? If so, thanks, I'm reading it now..altho so far, nothing that I didn't already know. As it is not what one would term light reading, I am balancing myself by simultaneously reading Janet Evanovich's Metro Girl, hysterically funny book.

well you were exactly right about my karma, my Mercury receives an exact sextile from Saturn and a close one from Mars, and i _do_ have a touch of Libra (Neptune Lord of the Ascendant in Libra... and angular). (January 3, 1955 at 10:45am PST in Hollywood, CA.)

uh i only recommended Barbara Koval, not the book you mention. and i've mentioned Gover many times even though he drones on and on because he totally convincingly demonstrates what is coming for the U.S. economy when transiting Uranus and Pluto square U.S. Sun and Saturn.

pt21..born in the 2nd decanate of Capricorn you have an extraordinary ability to make the most of whatever environment in which you find yourself..consider yourself blessed!

I haven't gotten around to Koval yet, sometimes life intrudes, lol. I've read Robt Gover for years amd have chatted with him via email..a very nice man.

thanks, blessed indeed. i believe Koval has the key to financial astrology but am happy you have a life beyond mere books.

Moggy said... me books aren't "mere," I consider them my best friends (after Mr. Puppy). As a child I used to sleep with Grimm's Fairy Tales and Aesop's Fables under my pillow and as a teenager my "hangout" was the local library..and still is, lol. Not unreasonably, my Jupiter in Libra (books) is posited in my 11th house of friends.

A pleasant week to you.

well i don't think a thing can be "mere" in the absolute, you know, only with respect to something else. C.S. Lewis, a devout Christian, wrote a wonderful book called _Mere Christianity_. for what is Christianity compared to _God_, you see? what are books compared to life, and to love? (and there's more--but let us take one step at a time, until you learn, eventually, to stop 'disagreeing' with mere words! Goddess Bless.)

pt21..words symbolize and communicate meaning. Words are
labels. Labels are arbitrary.

The most common cause of misunderstanding arises from assuming that the word (a label) is the object. Two people can then be arguing about a concept, referring to it by using the same word, arguing because this word means something different to each of them.

So to be meaningful, words must establish the same thought (reference) in both the sender and receiver of a communication. The ball was in your court, not mine.

Communication is the transmission of meaning to others.

Important is that 'meaning' is transferred. In other words, it is important the other persons understand what we want them to understand, that they understand the intended meaning.

More precisely, purposeful communication is the transmission of intended meaning to others.

Implied is that the sender of the communication has clear knowledge and understanding of the meaning he wishes to convey, and that the receiver interprets the message in such a manner that he receives the intended meaning.

Hence for effective communication the sender must determine the purpose of the communication and use words which have the same meaning for sender and receiver.

Communication can be improved by clarifying your own ideas before
attempting to communicate them.

Be clear about the purpose of the communication. For example, its purpose could be to inform others, to obtain information or to initiate action.

It is probable that you have falsely assumed that I disagree with words. Not so, I disagree with your presentation and word usage and so I mirrored it back to you. If the reflection alarms you, perhaps the lesson is yours.
