This is the chart of the Re-unification of Germany on October 3, 1990 @ 00:00 a.m. in Berlin.

A deadly form of the E. coli bacteria has been making its way across much of Germany recently, with at least 140 people falling ill, many of them hospitalized.  A few deaths have occurred.

The astrology: 

Transiting Uranus square natal Uranus in the 6th house (public health).  Transiting Pluto is within 1* 14' of conjunction to natal Uranus.

Solar Eclipse of June 1, 2011 @ 11* Gemini 02' - sign of communication - conjoined natal Mars, planet of infectious diseases = highly communicable infectious diseases.

This could become quite serious for the people of Germany, as transiting Pluto will reach exact aspect to natal Uranus in July, lending severe rallying forces to the Uranus/Uranus square.

ASTROLOGY AND HEALTH - GEMINI

Each sign of the zodiac rules a specific part of the human body and has requirements distinct from all other zodiacal signs. 

The supreme priority of the human body is to keep itself alive and healthy.  To this end billions of cells engage in some type of activity that is part of this function, controlled by two communication systems, one of which is the nervous system...that system which transmits information rapidly by nerve impulses conducted from one body area to another.  The major components of the nervous system are the brain, spinal cord, and nerves.  Gemini and Mercury have rulership over the nervous system.

In the human body Gemini rules the bronchial tubes and lungs, the shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers.  With the exception of bone, every tissue and organ of the body contains fibrin.  The Gemini tissue (cell) salt - Kali muriaticum (Potassium chloride) -  is essential for the formation of fibrin.

A foundation of fibers forms the basis upon which our garment of flesh is built...an infinitely fine network all branching off from one another forming the framework upon which the tissues are constructed that includes the skin, glands and nerves.

Kali mur is concerned with cleansing and purifying the blood; it is frequently needed in the treatment of inflammatory diseases, particularly those affecting respiration - coughs, colds, sore throats, tonsillitis, bronchitis, etc..  A deficiency of Kali mur causes fibrin to become non-functional and to be thrown off in the form of thick, white discharges, giving rise to catarrhs and similar symptoms affecting the skin and mucous membranes.  Signs of potassium deficiency include muscle weakness, confusion, irritability and heart disease.  Fluid loss from diarrhea, vomiting or excessive exercise that causes sweating can also lead to deficiency.

People who were born with the Sun or Moon in Gemini or who have Gemini on the Ascendant, and when planets in Gemini or the Ascendant are under progressed or transiting afflictions can avoid problems associated with this Gemini cell salt and enjoy excellent health by supplying their bodies with Kali mur.

Aromatherapy is a healing method which uses the essential oils obtained from aromatic plants and trees for therapeutic purposes.  Useful in treating the skin for burns, bruises, muscle spasms, and acne, lavender is a splendid sedative and pain-killing essence; it is antiseptic, antiviral and analgesic.  I use lavender both to promote health and for mental tranquility.  Add water and about 14 drops of lavender to a spray bottle and enjoy the relaxation it lends when you spray it around a room; add a few drops to your laundry's rinse water for wonderfully smelling linens; mix 6 to 10 drops in a 1/2 ounce dropper bottle filled with a carrier oil (a good quality olive oil will do) and use directly on the skin to assist in healing; add a few drops to a hand or body cream, mix well, and notice the difference.

MINERALS THAT RESONATE WITH GEMINI

The talismanic gem Beryl (Alexandrite, Emerald, Aquamarine) and such stones as are striped.

Emerald resonates to the Fourth Chakra - the Heart Center.  The symbol of harmony, sympathy, creativity and health, green reflects nature in general, as do all green stones...restoring tired nerves and giving new energy.  Green is a great aid to any heart problem or blood pressure disorder because of its strong influence on the heart chakra and the circulation of its blood supply.  Wear emerald near the heart...a ring, perhaps, on a long chain so that it reaches your heart chakra.

IN THE NEWS:  HOSTAGE CRISIS

Gunmen loyal to Yemen's President - Ali Abdullah Saleh - have besieged the embassy of the UAE (United Arab Emirates).  Trapped within are the envoys of the United States, Britain, the European Union and Ambassadors of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and the UAE.

The astrology: 

Saturn rules hostages, Jupiter rules embassies.  On May 22, 2011, transiting Saturn squared natal Jupiter, coming to within one minute of exact aspect...the embassy of the UAE was besieged, creating a hostage crisis.

Transiting Mars conjoins natal Mercury so anger will be easily communicated...similar to road rage when normal irritability takes on stronger impulses...and so an anti-government action is the order of the day. 

MR PUPPY SEZ - GEMINI

The Gemini pussycat likes variety, to mingle and to socialize...and do they ever enjoy conversing!  Miss Poosey, my mother, used to attempt to engage my hooman in chat at every opportunity... and was always successful.  She is sorely missed.  Gemini kitties are astute and enjoy learning; they also have an abundance of nervous energy and require adequate rest (not a problem with pussycats, eh?)  A variety of activity in playtime balanced with high degrees of tranquility will produce a happy kitty.

If despite your attempts to keep kitty calm you notice signs of nervousness, do try the natural route and offer herbs that address the nervous system, such as Oats (Avena sativa)...it is a good general nervine and easy to give.  But don't wait until symptoms manifest, a little daily dose or a few times a week is of supreme benefit in providing overall support.  Just add a little cooked oatmeal to kitty's food.   And then there is always that fallback, Catnip (Nepeta cataria), lol.

FOR OUR HOOMIN COMPANIONS

A medicinal tea is one way for the Gemini-born to bring ease to their active nervous systems.  My hoomin places two heaping tablespoons of Oat straw herb (Avena sativa) in a pint mason jar, over which she pours boiling water to within an inch of the top of

the jar, then covers.  Let steep at least four hours (better overnight on the counter), then strain and drink throughout the day.

Tinctures of nervine herbs will also benefit the Gemini person.  Look to Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata), a mild tranquilizer and sedative; Skullcap (Scutellaria lateriflora), a mild tranquilizer; and Valerian (Valeriana officinalis), tranquilizer par excellence.  As I am not only Gemini but have Uranus opposition my Ascendant, nervous energy is high.  To enable sleep I often have to combine both Passionflower and Valerian tinctures.  Shades of Hamlet, lol:  "To sleep, perchance to dream-ay, there's the rub."

MOGGY'S COMMENTS

Ever since the Blogger system became unavailable causing an interruption in service about a week ago, I have been unable to make comments in answer to the comments of others.  Thus, I shall create my own comment section.

FEDERAL RESERVE: comment by anonymous on May 20th:

My Response:  The Federal Reserve System (Fed) is the central banking system of the United States, created in 1913 with the enactment of the Federal Reserve Act.

Their Board of Governors claims to be independent within government in that "its decisions do not have to be ratified by the President or anyone else in the executive or legislative branch of government." {How's that for arrogance?  Perfectly describes an afflicted Mars rising}  Nevertheless, its authority is derived from the U.S. CONGRESS!!! and is subject to congressional oversight.  {Ah, the plot thickens.}  In addition, members of the Board of Governors - including its chairman {Ben Bernanke at present} and vice-chairman, are chosen by the President and confirmed by CONGRESS!!!  Some control over the Fed is exercised by government, who also sets the salaries of the system's highest-level employees.  {Imagine rewarding thieves to steal you blind while creating chaos and financial destruction...because that is exactly what has been happening and what the American public has accepted in their ignorance.}

Thieves will continue to steal as long as the public allows it. Knowledge is the perfect weapon, therefore, educate yourself.

FEDERAL RESERVE

Cancer Rises, ruler Moon in Scorpio, sign of other people's resources.  Mars closely conjoins the Ascendant in Cancer, debilitated as it is in the sign of its fall, opposing Jupiter, an aspect indicating reckless behavior...and inconjunct Venus, planet ruling money and the need for transformation as regards values.

Neptune also occupies the first house opposing Jupiter and Uranus, strongly suggesting this agency is more than capable of pulling the wool over everyone's eyes.  Although spin is their modus operandi, it appears to have fallen short of the mark in the video accompanying this essay.  The lust for power of this thieving organization, which is not a Federal Agency but a conglomerate of bankers, is noted by 12th house Pluto opposing the Sun.

Here's a video of former prosecutor, House Democrat Alan Grayson questioning Elizabeth Coleman, Inspector General of the Federal Reserve in November 2010.  The issue is the oversight pertaining to the ever-expanding out of balance sheet of the Fed.  What a disgrace!

The Constitution of the United States of America officially went into effect on March 4, 1789.

TRANSITS for the World Trade Center attack on Sept. 11, 2001:

Sun inconjunct natal Pluto in the 3rd house:  Abuse of power concerning a document (3rd house).

Mercury inconjunct Saturn/Sun conjunction in 4th house Pisces: The foundations of American liberty - our Constitution - labor under great strain from a document (Mercury) transformation.

Saturn square natal Sun in the 4th house:  Most assuredly a test of the Constitution's ability to maintain itself from individuals in positions of power, who seek to cause change for the sole reason they refuse to accept freedom for the citizens, as granted to them by the country's founders.
