SPRING EQUINOX 2012 - USA - ENGLAND - GERMANY

The Vernal Equinox is the exact moment of the ingress of the Sun into Aries...the commencement of the astrological year.  A map of the Heavens is drawn for the moment of ingress at the seat of government of a nation.  The figure for the Vernal Equinox always bears chief rule for the ensuing year and while the succeeding ingresses into the other cardinal points have also a pre-signification, they are subsidiary to the first-named.

The following interpretation is for the chart cast for Washington, D.C., depicting situations to be faced by the population of the USA.  DATA:  March 20, 2012 @ 1:16 a.m. - Washington, D.C.

Sun, retrograde Mercury and Uranus in the 4th house of weather events will tell of a violent tale for the ensuing astrological year (March 2012 - March 2013).  Toss in a retrograde Mars as ruler of Aries, the sign on the 4th house cusp and citizens of the USA can expect sudden and violent T-storms, tornadoes (Uranus) and earthquakes of varying intensity (Pluto).  The opposition of Mars to Neptune/Moon in Pisces is reconciled by Pluto...the energy will act as a rallying force, diverting into earth movements. 

Rioting will be to the fore, promised by Uranus inconjunct retrograde Mars in Virgo in the 9th house of publicly expressed opinion.  As Mars is disposited by Mercury in Aries, we will witness very young violent rioters who will implement military tactics to vent their frustration.

Neptune and Moon conjoin the Fixed Star Fomalhaut, one of the four Royal Stars, said to be very fortunate and powerful, yet to cause malevolence of sublime scope and character, changing from a material to a spiritual form of expression.  With a sextile to Pluto and opposition to Mars, we may experience both sides of the interpretation.  On the downside, water will become a problem.  Neptune/Moon/Fomalhaut in the 3rd house may cause tidal surges that take out bridges; damaged roads, river transportation are other areas that may be impacted...drinking water may become polluted.  On the upside, Americans will have the opportunity to return to God, whom they have displaced.

Aquarius is on the 3rd house cusp, its dual rulers Uranus and a retrograde Saturn.  Uranus rules the common man, both emigrants and immigrants; the U.S. will witness the door swinging both ways but I say of the immigrants that the country must be wary of Uranus bearing gifts.  Saturn rules those in authority, its retrograde condition signifying that those so represented continue to seek a lack of boundaries for the country, to its detriment.

It will not be a year in which the USA has the option on taking action in world events...more that we are in the batter's box and have to await the pitch from other countries.

ALL COUNTRIES:  Jupiter/Venus, Mars and Pluto form a Grand Trine in Earth signs, seeking to preserve the status quo of existing conditions by which it feels securely supported.  Both element and aspect do not respond well to drastic, critical changes in life affairs.  Each country will be challenged to assert creative resourcefulness to properly utilize the grand trine energy rather than to resist making dynamic changes, the resistance resulting in getting stuck in ruts that support weakness for comfort.

The following interpretation is for the chart cast for London, England, depicting situations to be faced by the population of Great Britain.  DATA:  March 20, 2012 @ 5:16 a.m. GMT...and for Germany, as the two charts are almost exact.

ENGLAND and GERMANY:  Five planets fall in the 1st house - two Mutable, three Cardinal.  This is the house that denotes the general state of the nation, the nation's people, and their outlook.  The stellium of planets in the 1st house is an indication of too many energies with which to deal along with a lack of patience, the result of which creates changes from one day to the next.  Neither country is to be relied upon in this astrological year, for with a retrograde Saturn in the 8th house of debt, they struggle to survive what has been wrought by international bankers.  Further...Sun, Mercury and Uranus are disposited by a retrograde Mars, while Mercury and Uranus are inconjunct retrograde Mars - in Virgo, the sign of harvest.  Their survival concerns go far beyond financial, they are in danger of not having adequate food supplies for their people.

A sword hangs dangerously over one or more banks in each country as the three Aries planets are held back from occupying their own Aries house (2nd) and the Sun is semi-square 2nd house Venus, also co-ruling the 8th house of debt.  The truth will begin to manifest when the Sun reaches conjunction to Uranus the weekend of March 24/25th.  As Uranus co-rules the 12th house, the rug may be pulled out from under rather suddenly - oops!...followed a few weeks later by the Sun's transit on April 17th/18th, 2012 opposition retrograde Saturn, hovering on the 8th house cusp..."Cannon to right of them, Cannon to left of them, Cannon behind them Volley'd and thunder'd.." as all hell breaks loose in the financial world.
