CRITICISM OF MOGGY: A HORARY CHART

This is a horary chart that I cast after reading a critical note sent to me by a person that shall be identified as Z for ease of reference.  The chart was cast based on the time that I finished reading the note.  This is the note in its entirety making comment on my essay New Moon USA - May 2011:

"Well, you're certainly not venturing out of the MUNDANE field of astrology...... perhaps if you begin to study some of the Esoteric Astrology teachings you will be able to offer opinions that actually are helpful to others rather than commenting on political issues......... Be ever mindful that astrology is a valuable tool for ALL HUMANS....and not narrowly limited to citizens of the USA, whom, by the way are not the only AMERICANS....."

First of all, most of my Mundane essays will encompass the United States (but not all) because this is where I live and where I sense I need to focus due to the distressful actions of a government that has lost its moral compass.  Secondly, everyone on the globe should be able to benefit from the health essays, six of which have been posted to date.  Last of all, this is MY blog and I shall write exactly what pleases me for I do not allow anyone to place a harness on me and tell me to giddy-up.  It is interesting that the 3rd decanate of Libra rises, the decanate pictured in the sky by the constellation LUPUS - the Wolf...meaning the people under its influence have a tendency to attempt to enslave their fellowman when afflicted.  Now to the chart delineation.

Z is shown by the 1st house in the above chart, with Libra Ascending, its ruler Venus situated in Aries, its place of detriment, in the 6th house being squared by Pluto in Capricorn in the 3rd house and opposed by retrograde Saturn in Libra in the 12th house.

The 6th house is an area of upsetting and distressing conditions that usually affect the health and personal affairs and describes the censurer's situation.  On a psychological level, the Pluto/Venus square speaks to betrayal, a condition that develops only when the matrix lies within.  In short, this means Z betrays him/herself and so attracts it from without.

In the system of essential dignities a planet is in its detriment when posited in the sign opposite the sign it rules.  This traditional system of rulerships has importance for psychological astrology. Venus, ruler of Taurus and Libra, placed in either Scorpio or Aries is in its detriment, meaning its action is weaker than if placed elsewhere.  Therefore, Z is at a psychological disadvantage and needs to positively integrate the social urges (thoughts) within his/her psyche in order to balance the opposites.

Broadly speaking, Venus is the planet of love and affection, rules the venous blood and the veins, skin and hair.  It also has a decided influence upon the action of the thyroid gland and the gonad glands.  Thus, one of the problems appears to be hormonal.  Of the foods which are particularly important when Venus is afflicted the most important is Vitamin E, which is found in fresh lettuce, in the seeds and green leaves of plants, unmilled cereals, wheat-germ oil, egg-yolk, fresh meat and animal fat.

Next in importance when Venus is afflicted is to provide Vitamin A.  A diet deficient in Vitamin A upsets the feminine cycle, tending to make it continuous instead of periodic. 

For the thyroid gland to function it must be supplied with iodine and special pains should be taken to eat foods containing same as lack of iodine in the blood stream prevents the manufacture of thyroxin.  Too much emotional excitement, or too great a proportion of proteins and fats in the food places a strain on thyroxin production, the hormone that is primarily responsible for regulation of metabolism.

There you have it.  I trust this will not be taken as encouragement to send me critical notes, lol.

Surprising though this may be to some, astrology begat medicine.  It was the Sumerians (2900 - 1800 B.C.) who invented astrology, and demonstrated that astrology produced the most sophisticated astronomical knowledge ever seen to that date.  In the early 1920s, the 660 medical tablets from the Sumerian Library of Asshurbanipal were published by Cambell Thompson.

The practice of modern American medicine is described as allopathic medicine, a system divorced from prevention that looks upon disease as the enemy and the human body as a machine.  Such self-styled 'healers' in their capacity as mechanics prefer invasive treatments, drugs and surgery as their approach in their overview that the whole is the same as its parts.  The result of their unnatural approach:  Doctors in the United States are the third leading cause of death. 

The only way to avoid a looming train wreck from unnecessary surgery, medication errors in hospitals, infections in hospitals, and miscellaneous errors is to assume responsibility for your own health and welfare.  How many surgeries, how many diseases suffered could be prevented if you had knowledge of your physical body, such as what specific nutritional aids would be required in a given year of your life to achieve or maintain excellent health?

ZODIAC SIGN OF THE MONTH

Each sign of the zodiac rules a specific part of the human body and has requirements distinct from all other zodiacal signs.  The first sign of the zodiac is Aries, ruling the head and face, the upper jaw, and the cerebrum (upper hemisphere of the brain).  The explicit nutritional necessity is a biochemic salt known as Potassium phosphate (Kali phos), the tissue salt that creates the grey matter of the brain by uniting albumen and oxygen.  Without this salt the brain simply cannot function.  All mental disorders require Kali phos., as do all manner of nerve troubles, depression, insomnia, irritability, hysteria and headaches.

"The late Dr. Forbes-Ross stated that shortages of potassium was the main cause of cancer, and reported cases where cures were effected when potassium was administered in an assimilable form.  Incidentally, crude black molasses provides one of the best means of obtaining a good supply of potassium in the diet."

People who were born with the Sun or Moon in Aries or who have Aries on the Ascendant, and when planets in Aries or the Ascendant are under progressed or transiting afflictions can avoid the illnesses above mentioned and enjoy excellent health by supplying their bodies with Kali phos.

The 23rd degree of Aquarius Rises and speaks to  developing a political platform or social agenda.

Events of a lunation often begin to make themselves known a week prior thereto, as is the case herein, as Barack Obama has released what is supposed to be his birth certificate this 27th day of April, 2011.  However, since this document lists his father as being born in Kenya, and the Republic of Kenya wasn't established until December 12, 1964, it appears to be a bogus document.  Let us see what the New Moon uncovers.

The Lunation - Sun and Moon conjoined in Taurus in the 2nd house of values is inconjunct a retrograde Saturn in Libra in the 8th house, both planet and sign representing the president in the USA horoscope.  The inconjunct (quincunx) aspect describes a situation that is totally out of synchronization.  Additionally, the Lunation forms an inconjunct with the Midheaven (MC), the area of a chart representing the president of the country under review.  The MC is on the 9th degree of Sagittarius, a degree describing picking one's way through a tricky situation.  I'm reminded of that long-ago song, Tip Toeing Through The Tulips, lol.

Mercury, ruler of documents, is opposed by retrograde Saturn...oops...a lack of truth visited upon the nation's people by a cunning politician is upon us, supported by Saturn's rulership over the 12th house of sneaky, cheating individuals.  It is interesting that the 12th house also rules the secret enemies of a nation, considering the occupant of the White House leads the American public down a socialistic pathway and away from our Constitutional heritage.

Be ever mindful of that which has been gifted to all Americans by said Constitutional heritage:

"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.."

MR. PUPPY SEZ: TAURUS PUSSYCAT 2011

The Taurus pussycat is easy-going and mild-mannered with a streak of stubbornness.  No kitty born of any other sign can sit at a mouse hole with such patience.  Being Venus-ruled, the Taurus kitty likes to feel comfortable, they like to be catered to (breakfast in bed will do nicely, lol) and pampered to the max!

Taurus rules the neck and throat, an area of the body that is sensitive or vulnerable to sore throats.  My hoomin treats problems in this area by diluting an elderberry product by the name of Sambucol/Sambucus with filtered water and shaking well, using a ratio of 4:1...squirting a dropper's worth into my sweet mouth two or three times a day.  The problem always resolves itself within 24 hours.

One of the greatest herbs for respiratory difficulties is Mullein (Verbascum thapus).  Keeping a tincture on hand will not only relieve respiratory issues but will be a boon to heal ears that are troubled with mites.  Making a tincture is rather easy...you will need a small jar with lid, either dried or fresh mullein leaves (I add flowers, too), and vegetable glycerin:

1.  Place the herb in a clean glass jar, leaving one or two inches of space at the top.  Then fill the jar with vegetable glycerin.

2.  Cap the jar tightly, date, identify, making sure to set forth the solvent used on the label and place in a dark cupboard for 3 or 4 weeks, shaking the jar every day.

3.  Using muslin, strain the plant material out of the liquid.  Rebottle the liquid, discarding the mullein.  Label as in #3.  Glycerin tinctures keep longer under refrigeration.  Do not expose the tincture to heat or light.

FOR OUR HOOMIN COMPANIONS

For an infusion to help soothe a cough and sore throat, use 1 to 2 teaspoons of dried leaves and flowers per cup of boiling water.  Steep 10 minutes, then add honey and lemon as Mullein tastes bitter.  Best not to exceed 3 cups a day.  In a tincture, take 1 teaspoon up to three times a day.  Pregnant or nursing adults should consult a physician who has knowledge of herbal remedies.

OUR SPIRITUAL HERITAGE: FLOOR OF THE LIBRARY OF CONGRESS, USA

The Library of Congress was established by an act of Congress in 1800 when President John Adams signed a bill providing for the transfer of the seat of government from Philadelphia to the new capital city of Washington. The legislation described a reference library for Congress only, containing "such books as may be necessary for the use of Congress -- and for putting up a suitable apartment for containing them therein...."

The marble floor of the Great Hall contains a number of modeled and incised brass inlays. The center represents the Sun, on which are noted the four cardinal points of the compass, indicating the main axes of the building. A decorative scale pattern encloses the Sun with alternate sections of red and yellow Italian marble, the former from Verona and the latter from Sienna.

Twelve squares at the perimeter of the floor of the Great Hall represent the signs of the zodiac. The other squares form two patterns of rosettes. They are embedded in blocks of dark red, richly mottled French marble, with borders of pure white Italian marble.

GREAT SAN FRANCISCO EARTHQUAKE

SAN FRANCISCO - January 30, 1847

Scorpio Rises, rulers Mars in Sagittarius in the 2nd house and Pluto in Aries in the 6th house, where it forms a Cardinal T-Square, expressing energies that are destined to regenerate the city.

Mercury opposition Moon, both squared by Pluto in Cardinal Fire sign Aries, the energy being siphoned off by Pluto's trine to Mars in Mutable Fire sign Sagittarius.

The Great Earthquake that struck San Francisco on April 18, 1906 had a magnitude of 7.9, toppling buildings and causing a fire that is remembered as one of the worst natural disasters in the history of the USA.  The death toll was estimated to be above 3,000 and remains the greatest loss of life from a natural disaster in California's history.

On the fateful day in the early morning hour of 5:12 a.m., transiting Pluto conjoined the Fixed Star Bellatrix in Orion's left shoulder  (known for its misfortune) and formed an opposition to natal Mars; transiting Mars was inconjunct natal Mars; 4th house planets were activated along with other planetary aspects, creating strong rallying forces to the powerful Pluto/Mars opposition.  The timer Moon set the earthquake in motion when it conjoined Saturn, co-ruler of the 4th house.

Here is a video of a 105-year old film clip of a cable car ride in SF filmed just four days before the earthquake.  The camera was mounted on the front of the cable car as it's traveling down the street so that you get the impression that you are really there.
